"We ate here on the 24th of December 2025 on the hunt for the best mutton bunny on the south coast and I can definitely say we found it, my gosh the taste was unbelievable, the atmosphere the people the whole experience beats anything I’ve ever had before, the family that runs the place is so friendly and hospitable it felt like I was home. I am definitely going back before I leave the south coast and getting samosas for the road. What a truly amazing experience."

"Wow. We stayed 4 nights in Margate and ordered twice from Karambas. Why? Well. The service was EXCELLENT. Delivered by foot to our door. Even went out of their way to bring us ice. The food (hot mutton bunny chow, mutton vetkoek, samoosas) was VERY TASTY. The portions were AWESOME. The price was VALUE for your money. DEFINITELY will be back to support such a lovely Family business."

"Five gold stars for Karambas in Margate We went for lunch and what a fantastic experience it was The meal exceeded my expectations, all I wanted was some grilled fish but boy the chef Iqram delivered perfection We had the most delicious grilled line fish - freshly caught and deboned - flavoured with fresh herbs and spices, mouth-watering smoky tandoori/peri-peri marinade - and it was served with the softest roti and the best aloo paratha I’ve had in many years. Thank you Iqram and Team, we will definitely be back for more!!"

"Went to margate looking for a good Tikka, we were welcomed with great smiles n smells. The hosts were extra accommodating, brilliant vibe n atmosphere, we tried the chicken strips n it was devine, then the mutton bunny Omw it was of the hook best we have eaten in the entire kzn. Tikkas was devine n presentation simply amazing. It was almost asif we were at they home the manner in which we were treated. Can't wait to go back. We also had great talks n advise on fishing wich we loved. You guys rock, keep up the great work."

The family outdid themselves, were honest and forthright in their dealings with me. Could not fault a single item on their menu. Super tasty and well cooked. Complements all round. "Our family ordered mutton bireyani, chicken curry and rice, beef roast and sides for Christmas lunch. Everything was exceptional, including the samoosas and chicken wing platters which we ordered. The service, portion size and attention to detail was amazing! We loved everything. Would highly recommend for catering a function or event!"

"Catered Christmas lunch for our first visit back to South Africa after immigrating to Australia and what we got was the taste of home that we missed so much. The chicken curry was perfect, the mutton biriyani delicious, the platters of samosas and chicken wings were savoured and the dipping sauce was my favourite.
